We have a selection of Dutch cheese and a European-style deli, with grocery aisles stocked full of cookies, hagelslag, chocolates, raisin buns, gebakjes, Dutch vegetables, soups, and more. 

With over 75 types of bulk licorice and candy, you are sure to find a favourite.  Our freezers are full of croquettes and the coolers are full of herring. We also carry a variety of ingredients in our Indonesian section.

OUR HISTORY

In 1959, when Gouda cheese was selling for 79¢ a pound and King peppermints for 10¢ a roll, Jack Thalen purchased an existing Dutch store with the help of his suppliers. From its first location on MacDonell St in 1959, the Dutch Toko grew to become the multi-generational retail business it is today, and continues to flourish and serve the Guelph community.
